Roxanne Varza is the director of Station F, a unique incubator hosting 1,000+ startups from 80 countries around 30 programs. With a 9% selection rate, it is a popular venue in Paris – and it has been full from day one. Hosted startups benefit from various services, access to a makerspace and fruitful proximity with investors, corporates and other entrepreneurs from around the world. Varza is proud to announce that 40% of founders are women, an outstanding rate in the digital industry. The campus has celebrated its very first exit in early 2018: chatbot startup Recast.ai was purchased by software giant SAP. Station F will soon be extended with housing facilities.
Prior to directing Station F, Roxanne Varza co-founded StartHer (ex Girls in Tech Paris) in 2010 and was editor at TechCrunch France. She is also the co-organizer of the Failcon Paris conference.
